Held at the beautiful Studio 17 in Heaton Moor, Therapeutic Yoga is limited to 12 students to provide a comforting, attentive and personal environment perfect for complete yoga beginners to those wishing to deepen their practise.
Including blankets, blocks, and eye pillows, students will be guided through postures designed to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and breathing to improve one’s sense of wellness and vitality.

How it works
Students are encouraged to purchase 10 or 5 class passes to ensure there’s always a place available, as well as to foster a better understanding of yoga over a particular timeframe. Also, the more often a student attends, the greater understanding the teacher has of them, so it works both ways!
When purchasing a 5 class pass, there will be 7 weeks in which to use this, and 13 weeks for a 10 class pass.

Release & Relax Yoga
Release & Relax Yoga is the perfect way to soften any tension in the mind-body with gentle movements before a guided relaxation to reset your whole being.
In addition to his medical training, Christoph has spent the last three years studying various methods to promote true wellbeing through relaxation. It will have elements of Yin Yoga to ground, slow movements to release pent-up tension before being guided through a deeply restorative rest.
Using classic yoga postures the class begins with some breath work to allow us to bring the into focus into our practice, which then leads into a mat-based warm up before flowing into some standing, grounding and balancing asanas. We then move towards the floor for seated strengthening and lengthening movements before finishing the class with a guided relaxation.
